Jerry del Missier founded Copper Street Capital in July 2015. Mr. del Missier is responsible for overseeing all investment activities within the firm and setting the firm’s strategic direction. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry including business acquisition, growth, restructuring and reengineering. Prior to founding Copper Street, Mr. del Missier was Co-Chief Executive Officer of Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank and subsequently, Chief Operating Officer for Barclays Bank Plc (1997-2012). During his time at Barclays he held various executive leadership positions and he played a key leadership role in the acquisition and integration of Lehman Brothers and the post-crisis restructuring of the bank. Previously, Mr. del Missier was a Senior Managing Director of Derivative Products for Bankers Trust (1988-1997). Mr. del Missier started his career at Scotiabank (1987-1988) in Toronto. Mr. del Missier holds an MBA from Queens University (1987) and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Queens University (1985).

Mark Werner is a senior advisor to Cerberus Operations and Advisory Corporation and works with two of their portfolio companies as a Board member. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Advisor to Alphadyne Asset Management, an alternative investment management firm. Previously, Mark co-founded Amherst Pierpont Securities where he served as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman. Mark Werner began his career in fixed income at J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc. where he ultimately served as Vice Chairman and head of the North American interest rate markets, futures, and options businesses. He was also a member of the investment bank’s Executive Committee. Subsequently Mark also served as CEO of Bank of America Securities where as Head of Global Markets his responsibilities included the debt and equity businesses.

Michelle Witter is Co-Chief Executive of Saranac Partners and leads the client team. Michelle was one of the founding partners of the firm.

Prior to this, Michelle served as Head of Strategy for Barclays Wealth and latterly as Head of Distribution within the Global Investment & Solutions division of Barclays Wealth.

Michelle started her career at LEK Consulting and has an undergraduate degree from Oxford University.

Peter Charrington is a Senior Advisor at Saranac Partners. Peter served as Chief Executive Officer of Citi Private Bank from 2014 to 2020. He was a member of the Institutional Clients Group Executive Management Team, reporting to the President of Citi.

Peter spent 27 years with Citi serving as both a successful Private Banker and then in various management roles, including CEO of the UK Wealth Business, Head of Israel, Greece and Monaco, Interim CEO of EMEA, and CEO of North America from 2009 to 2014. Under Peter’s leadership the Private Bank was voted Best Global Private Bank for 2 years running in 2018 and 2019 and Peter was voted best CEO in the Wealth Management Industry in 2019 by PWM and the Financial Times.

Since leaving Citi, Peter joined the Nexus Luxury Collection, based in the Bahamas and is a Senior Partner at the Group. He currently serves on a number of Boards including, Avaloq Group in Switzerland and Amey in the UK, and is a Senior Advisor to One Equity Partners in New York and UST Group and a member of the CEO Advisory Council at ICG plc.

Peter holds both an undergraduate degree and an MA from Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

Richard Berliand is Chair of the Board at Saranac Partners. Richard’s career in the Financial Services sector spans over 35 years.

During his 23 years at JP Morgan, he was involved in multiple asset classes and geographies, most recently as Managing Director leading the Global Cash Equities and Prime Services businesses and chairing the firm’s Market Structure practice.

Richard’s current non-executive activities include a number of roles in the markets arena, including as Chairman of TP ICAP plc, the world’s largest inter-dealer broker, and Senior Independent Director of Man Group plc, the largest listed hedge fund group. Previous non-executive positions have included Deutsche Börse AG, Rothesay Life plc, LIFFE and London Clearing House.

Sylvain Brosseau has served as CEO and Founding Partner of Walter Global Asset Management since the company was founded in 2019. He has over 30 years of experience in the investment management industry, including his tenure as Global President and COO of Fiera Capital from 2003 to 2017. Before joining Fiera Capital, he served as Executive Vice-President, Institutional Markets at TAL Global Asset Management Inc. and as Executive Vice-President at TAL International, where he oversaw worldwide distribution and operations. His experience also includes terms as Vice-President of Marketing and Vice-President of Technology and Operations at Talvest Mutual Funds.
